With nearly 50 workshops to select from and events including the Kick-off Party, Artist Trading Card Swaps, the Orient Express Dinner, the Mad Hatter Tea Party, the Marketplace and the Outsider Art Fair, it can be challenging to build your schedule.

These tools can help you get a “big picture view” of everything happening at Artiscape.

As the name suggests, a Trade is something you’ve created and then give to another attendee who then gives you one of their little creations. Trades may be little pins, artist trading cards (ATCs), bookmarks, embellishments, a small book, etc.

Trading Sessions are scheduled times when attendees are encouraged to meet one another to trade. You may also trade at events, in the hall, etc. It’s a great way to meet people and to see a variety of small works of art.

Many attendees do not participate in trades. We like to encourage everyone to try trading, even if you only bring a few items to trade. It’s a great way to meet people and to see a variety of art!
You can choose to visit Artiscape for the weekend or just the day take several workshops or just one.


For your convenience, you can purchase tickets to Artiscape Events and Workshops online, here, at A 3% online transaction fee applies to orders placed on the web.

You can purchase tickets by mail using our printable Registration Form, which includes class descriptions.

Registration is on a first-received basis.

This year we’re asking you to pick up your registration materials, including your badge, on site at Artiscape Registration, adjacent to the Artiscape Store.

Events and workshops do sell out. While not required, we strongly suggest you purchase tickets well in advance. You can purchase tickets on-site for workshops that are not sold out.

You do not have to purchase tickets to visit the Marketplace or Outsider Art Fair, which are open to the public.

Materials Lists

To make the weekend as fun and stress-free as possible instructors were encouraged to provide most materials. No supply lists will be sent, as this information is included in the individual workshop listings on this site.

Cancellations,  Refunds & Exchanges

Cancellations or changes will incur a $25 change fee. No refunds after March 22, 2017 (no exceptions, please don’t ask). You may transfer your tickets at no cost, but please let us know so we can update class lists for instructors (as tickets are inventoried).

Weekend Passes are issued to individuals and cannot be shared among friends & spouses.
