Originating in Holland, this technique of folding strips of paper to form a design is a unique approach to creating paper art. First, Betty will teach you the basic techniques of iris folding as you create a card featuring spring tulips. Then, you will incorporate iris folding with foil and paper piecing to decorate a small clear pail with dragonflies- perfect to fill with goodies and give as a gift! Lastly, you’ll make a card with a delightful teapot resting on a lacy background. Mother’s Day is just around the corner and these cards and gift pail will surely make Mom smile! |
| What To Bring: |
Small sharp scissors, permanent transparent tape, double sided tape, a fine tipped glue pen, adhesive, bone folder, colorbox cat’s eye ink to edge pieces (green, pink), colored pencils, pens or markers to decorate the flower border on the pail. |
