Decorate a Tote Bag using the Brother ScanNCut and Heat Transfer Vinyl

Loading Classes/Events
This class/event has passed.

Learn the basics of using a Brother ScanNCut2 CM350 to cut heat transfer vinyl and then apply the custom design to a tote bag using a Happy Crafters Pink Heat Press. Two designs to select from; fox or owl. You select the colors and can optionally add a name or phrase to the bag in one of the 7 fonts built in to the ScanNCut2.

This is a hands on class! Students will work in pairs on a ScanNCut, to cut the design. You’ll learn how to work with vinyl, including techniques for weeding and layering, and then how to apply the vinyl to the bag. If you’ve never used an electronic cutting machine or are looking for tips to use your Brother ScanNCut, this is your opportunity! Joe is a Brother designer (read about Joe on the Brother ScanNCut Website) and frequently uses the ScanNCut on the TV show Make It Artsy.
