Project Description
I designed this mushroom house card exclusively for the Brother ScanNCut. It’s being featured as the Free Cut File for the month of February 2018 on the Brother ScanNcut website
.Paper piecing is a technique used to create an image using pieces of paper. I think of it as the paper version of “paint by numbers.” If the pieces are small enough, you can arrange scraps of different colored paper on your mat and cut all the pieces you need at once!
This project file is designed to create a shaped card the size of an A2 card (4.5” wide by 5.5” tall). You could also use the mushroom house pieces to create an embellishment for a scrapbook layout or mixed media project.
Use different color palettes, including patterned paper, to really make your mushrooms fun!
Download the free cut file and written instructions from the Brother ScanNCut website.
The download file is a ZIP file. It has several folders inside it:
- FCM Files
- Images
- Instructions (PDF)
- Video
You must download the file and unzip it (i.e., extract it’s contents) to get to the FCM files.
I’ll be posting a new cut file every month for 12 months on the Brother ScanNCut website. If you have ideas for projects you would like to see in future months, please leave me your comments!
Thanks and Happy Crafting!
Joe
