Here are a couple of projects I did for the Viva Las VegaStamps! call for design team members. The first one was a butterfly card that I made using an Impression Obsession Cover A Card stamp on two layers, and then a PSX butterfly stamp colored with 3 different shades of blue Copic markers. I then covered the butterfly with pearl Glimmer Mist and finished by adding blue-green rhinestone eyes and mounting on blue cardstock, pop-dots and a ribbon.
For the second card, I decided to do something clever and artful. I used a great stamp from Stampers Anonymous and a pear stamp from Rubber Stampede with alcohol inks for the body. I cut out all body parts and elevated them with black pop dots. A swirly background stamp from Stampabilities was used with Perfect Pearls. My caption is on the inside of the card which is one inch wider than the front of the card and was made using the “Old Rubber Stamp” font from www.Dafont.com, and I used Distress Ink and a Martha Stewart punch around the page to finish my card.

Very cool cards! I love how you used two stamps together to create "Helen!"
thanks for the submission. These are great cards…
Wow! Those are awesome cards!!! I love the blue color and intricate detail. With "Helen" very artful and sophisticated! That card would be appropriate to send to the Queen of England! :0)
Great cards! It looks like you put a lot of time and thought into each of these. I really LOVE "Helen" and the interesting text. May I asked where the concept of Helen came from?
I LOVE Helen!! The way you've combined stamps, the sentiment, everything. Butterfly card is very elegant, but Helen is so original.
Great job! You've really got to teach me some of those special techniques! I especially love the butterfly – so pretty! Of course, the sentiment on the pear lady made me snort laugh!
Joe, Thanks so very much for sharing. that is totally cool! LOVE IT!!! Hugs to you
