Project Description

Viva Las Vegastamps! LogoHere are a couple of projects I did for the Viva Las VegaStamps! call for design team members. The first one was a butterfly card that I made using an Impression Obsession Cover A Card stamp on two layers, and then a PSX butterfly stamp colored with three different shades of blue Copic markers. I then covered the butterfly with pearl Glimmer Mist and finished by adding blue-green rhinestone eyes and mounting on blue cardstock, pop-dots and a ribbon.

For the second card, I decided to do something clever and artful. I used a great stamp from Stampers Anonymous and a pear stamp from Rubber Stampede with alcohol inks for the body. I cut out all body parts and elevated them with black pop dots. A swirly background stamp from Stampabilities was used with Perfect Pearls. My caption is on the inside of the card which is one inch wider than the front of the card and was made using the “Old Rubber Stamp” font from www.Dafont.com, and I used Distress Ink and a Martha Stewart punch around the page to finish my card.
