Artiscape – Vendor Information

There are two sales venues at Artiscape; the Marketplace and the Outsider Art Fair.

The Marketplace

Outsider Art Fair

Participants A limited number of art supply vendors chosen to compliment each other and offer a wide variety of products and supplies.

We are not a mega-show, so the emphasis is on quality, unusual offerings and niche companies.

Artists who exhibit and sell their finished handcrafted artwork. Pieces can be hand-bound books, jewelry, framed artwork, purses, collage work, cards and home decor, etc. No resale or art supplies please.
Audience  The event is marketed to Artiscape attendees (expected at over 500) as well as the general public. The event is marketed to Artiscape attendees (expected at over 500) as well as the general public.
Facilities Vendor space includes table(s) with fabric covers & skirting, 2 chairs, electricity; and easy loading/unloading. Tables are 6’ long and 30” deep, and include fabric table covers with skirting, one chair and electricity. There is ample space around vendors, so some set-up possible around tables as long as it doesn’t impede traffic flow
Schedule Open: Friday 7pm-9:30pm, Saturday 10am-5pm

Setup: Friday 9am-6pm

Tear-down: Saturday 5pm-10pm

You are responsible for staffing your booth during the show hours, but if need assistance in coverage, we often can suggest a helper. Advance request required.

Open: Sunday 11am-5pm

Setup: Sunday 8:30am-10:30am

Tear-down: Sunday 5pm-7pm

You are responsible for staffing your booth (either you or a friend) during the Art Fair hours.

Costs $250 – 10′ x 12′ Standard Booth, with two 6′ x 30″ tables.

$350 – 10′ x 12′ Premier Booth, with three 6′ x 30″ tables.

$150 – Vendor Table, 6′ x 30″

Additional Marketplace Tables are available for Standard and Premier Booths for $20 each.

Marketplace participants are invited to attend the Saturday evening dinner at a discounted price of $30 per person.

$75 – 6′ x 30″ table Artist’s Table with skirting, one chair and electricity.

Additional Artist’s Tables available for $25 each.

Special Discount Offer A $50 discount will be applied to your total at checkout for those participating in both the Marketplace and the Outsider Art Fair.

 

Notes To entice additional day-trippers, we’re planning a special market event on Saturday afternoon with door prizes, games, giveaways, make-it-take-its and demos. During this time, attendees enjoy an extra long break from workshops.

Exhibitors are listed in the event program and web site. Vendors receive full-color event postcards to promote their participation.

In the nature of our social event, fee includes light snacks and desserts at the Friday party, and entrance to Sunday’s Mad Hatter Tea.

Space is limited and will sell out quickly, so please reserve early to secure your space.

A separate marketing campaign, targeting the general public, will be launched in February to Ohio communities within 2 hours driving distance.

Artists are listed in the event program and web site.

In the nature of our social event, artists are also invited to the Mad Hatter Tea.

Press coverage is expected- so please respond with high quality pictures, if possible, as we will try to include in the press kit and website.

Space is limited and will sell out quickly, so please reserve early to secure your space.

How to Book Your Space

Marketplace and Outsider Art Fair space is purchased on this site through an online form.

shutterstock_129069266-checklistWe’ve prepared a checklist to help you prepare everything you need to book space using the online form. The process is easy if you have everything ready to go BEFORE you start entering information in to the form.

We suggest you prepare what you’re going to submit using a text editor (i.e., Microsoft Word). A tool like that will let you spell and grammar check and can count how many characters you have in a given block of text.
