Project Description
This mini matchbook album is the perfect project to use small pieces and scraps of your handmade paper. I’ve been making handmade paper using the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit, and can’t bear to throw away even the tiniest scrap. I started with this lightweight chipboard matchbook.
Next, I covered each page and the matchbook cover with a different piece of handmade paper and inked the edges of each page. After some experimentation I discovered that the best adhesive to adhere the paper to the chipboard is USArtQuest’s Great Tape.
I dug into my stash to find stamps and embellishments to decorate each page.

The pink heart on the cover was made using Arnold Grummer’s Three Hearts Template.
Here’s the finished matchbook mini album.

Where can you find the mini matchbooks
Pat, these were a gift from a fellow paper artist and came out of my stash, so I really don't know their origin. They wouldn't be too hard to replicate using cereal boxes, though. I'll measure them tonight and post the dimensions tomorrow.
How did you do the middle picture on the bottom row? Is the heart and "ribbon" around it a sticker? It's really cool!
Amy, you guessed it!! The heart and ribbon is a sticker:)
