Sometimes the smallest stamps have the biggest impact. That’s what I thought when I saw this Filigree Heart stamp from Viva Las Vegastamps! For this card I inked the edges of the card base, gold glitter paper mat, the rosette, and the brown cardstock strip with Walnut Stain Distress Ink by Ranger. I used the same ink to stamp the Small Filigree Heart (Item 18019 from Plate 1085 Valentine).
I am totally impressed with the quality of the Viva Las Vegastamps! stamps. There is so much detail on this little gem, but every curl and curve stamped beautifully.
Fro the rosette, start with a 12″ x 1 1/4″ strip of patterned paper. Use a scoreboard to scored the strip every 1/4″, then fan folded the strip on the score lines. Glue the two end together forming a tube. When this is dry, flatten the tube to form the rosette, and glue on an embellishment. I used CANDI dots for the center of the rosette and for accents.
