Dethroning the Queen!

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been diligently working to dethrone the queen of unfinished projects!

First up, a Technique Day album from 2 or 3 years ago!  Red Letter Journal offers Technique Day the 3rd Saturday of every month from 12-5pm.  For this Technique Day, we made a page each month to create this cute album.

For December, we made our last page and put everything together.  What I had needed to finish was the last month’s page and to create my cover.  Don’t you just love how the album was put together?!  Heather from RLJ is amazingly talent and designed a great book.  I’m glad I finally finished it!

Next up, a page for my mom’s album.  For my 30th birthday, I made my mom a scrapbook all about us.  For each year of my life, I made a 1 or 2 page layout of just pictures of mom and me.  Ever since, I have added a page each year.  Somehow, I ended up forgetting what years I had made, and I created 2 layouts for 2008.  It was easy to do – just change the pictures and stamp a new date.  Just getting one of those elusive ’round to its was the challenge.

It feels good to get some little things done!
